This repair is to replace the SIM reader. If the device won't read the SIM card, the SIM reader may be faulty.
If your sim reader is faulty, your device may display one of the following messages:
'No Sim Inserted'
'flight mode (sometimes just a settings issue, so check that first).
It could just give you no service.
Sometimes the fault can lie with the sim card or the network provider, so if you can, check that you are using a working sim card on the appropriate network to avoid our diagnosis fee (£10) in that instance.
Please check the SIM card you are using is registered and the on the correct network for the phone.
